A major international fashion brand has arrived at Lakeside Shopping Centre today.
Lefties, part of the Inditex Group, has chosen the centre for its second UK store and its first in the south of the country.
Described as one of the most anticipated retail arrivals of the season, Lefties offers clothing, footwear and accessories for women, men, teens, children, babies and newborns.
Nancy Foster, centre director at Lakeside, said: "Lefties is one of the most exciting fashion arrivals of the year, and we’re proud that Lakeside will be home to its first store in the South.
"From fashion and footwear to childrenswear and homeware, it is a brand with something for everyone.
"Its arrival gives our visitors another major reason to look again at Lakeside and spend the day, discover something new and update their Autumn Winter wardrobes."
Located on Level 2 of the Central Atrium, the store opened today and features the brand’s HOME Collection.
This line includes textiles, décor, fragrances and items designed for a functional environment, extending the brand’s offering beyond fashion through Lefties Home.
Known for its affordable pricing and wide range of products, Lefties is often compared to high street favourite Primark.
The brand focuses on inclusivity, offering timeless basics that can be mixed and matched with seasonal trends.
It comes as part of a wider trend of major brands investing in Lakeside, with recent openings including Hollister, Urban Outfitters and Space NK.
The shopping destination has welcomed £100 million in tenant investment over the last three years, £30 million of which was in the first six months of 2026 alone.
With more than 250 brands under one roof, the centre continues to attract shoppers seeking a full day out, with dining, leisure and experiences set around its iconic lake.
Sharing a look inside the new Lefties store today, a spokesman for Lakeside wrote on Facebook: "Lefties is now OPEN!
