Virgin Media is shutting down one of its major services this weekend, leaving customers unable to access films and TV shows if they don't act now.
From Sunday (November 1), customers will no longer be able to purchase movies or TV box sets through the Virgin Media Store.
Customers will need to transfer their existing libraries to Rakuten TV if they want to keep watching previously purchased content.
A Virgin Media spokesperson said: "Virgin Media Store will no longer offer movie or TV box set purchases from 1 November.
"Instead, you’ll be able to purchase blockbuster films and new releases directly through the Rakuten TV app on your Virgin TV box.
"You can set up your Rakuten account and transfer your Virgin Media Store purchases now, and we recommend doing this as soon as you can."
How to transfer your Virgin Media Store purchases to Rakuten TV
To keep watching Virgin Media Store purchases, customers will need to set up a Rakuten TV account and transfer their library.
To do this:

A Rakuten TV account will be created automatically if customers don't already have one.
Virgin Media added: "We recommend doing this as soon as you can."
