A free-to-play Pokémon game on mobile and Nintendo Switch is set to close down after almost six years of operation.
Pokémon UNITE was released in July 2021 on Nintendo Switch before making its way to Android and iOS a few months later.
However, fans of the multiplayer online battle arena game only have a few more months left to play it.
When will Pokémon UNITE close down?
In a statement, The Pokémon Company confirmed the game will be taken offline next spring, with service ending at midnight on March 23, 2027.
The company said: "We offer our sincerest gratitude to the many Trainers who have played since service started for the Nintendo Switch version on July 21, 2021."
A special event will be held in-game to thank players for their support.
The Pokémon UNITE Aeos Crown 2027 Tokyo tournament, a competitive event dedicated to the game, will also go ahead as planned.
The company said: "We hope you continue to enjoy Pokémon UNITE until the final day of service."
Once the service ends, players will no longer be able to log in or participate in battles.
The statement added: "After service ends, the Pokémon UNITE Game Content Guidelines for Online Platforms will no longer be published or maintained, and we will no longer provide support regarding use of Pokémon UNITE video and images."

An update is scheduled for Thursday, November 12, which will introduce a library feature and a special event.
During this event, players will be able to obtain a variety of in-game items, including Unite licenses and Holowear.
The library feature will allow users to view certain records and content after the game shuts down, provided the data has been downloaded in advance.
